You need to be 17 for a PPL and 18 for a CPL

Lots! But it’s all interesting and practical and our instructors are on hand to give you individual attention and guidance. To successfully train to the standard we require, you will need to put effort in. There is no easy way, just the hard way!!

The private pilot program can be started at any time as you work one on one with your instructor. Our commercial Ground school starts approximately every 10 weeks.  Please contact Helicopter Pilot Training Centre for the ground school schedule.

Yes, we have a crew house for the pilots but its not compulsory. There are lots of private student accommodation houses close to the airport as well.
