Commercial Pilot Licence
CPL Purpose?
This Commercial Pilots Licence is for those who wish to be a Pilot as a career choice
Course Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age to obtain a CPL (H) but there is no upper age limit.
- Hold a valid Private Pilot Licence
- Hold a Class I medical certificate
- Hold a General Radio Licence (acquired through us)
- Successfully pass 9 online CPL examinations. 75% pass mark (CAA Exams)
- Must have completed a minimum of 200 hours flying time (PPL Hours Incl) as a Pilot of which 100 hours must be Pilot in Command time and 20 hours of cross country flying (day / night)
- Complete a CPL General Flight Test in an aircraft with a Grade I Designated Flight Examiner

- Instrument Rating ( if instrument rating is required)You will only be recommended for your final flight tests once you have completed the minimum requirements and more importantly, reached the standard required. The full PPL-CPL course lasts approximately 12 – 14 months, depending on weather, operational requirements and the student’s progress.
